How to choose a web hosting service

Before choosing a web hosting, you should compare and well informed of all the services they offer. The most important features to consider are:

- Reliability and speed

Find a provider that owns its own equipment to offer the availability of your site secured 99%. Many providers are in fact resellers without their own services and in general have neither the resources nor the expertise to offer a good service, as well as be more expensive. Companies that took 3 or more years of operation are generally more reliable. Some vendors offer a trial period before hiring the accommodation.

- OS

Do you use a standard operating system continuously updated? If not, it will be difficult to get the latest scripts to develop your website. In search for Red Hat Linux, Mandrake, Debian, SuSE, Slackware and CentOS. To see the most recent stable version of Linux www.kernel.org visit. To make sure that Windows has the latest version with all patches updated.

If you're using server technology like ASP or JSP and manage Microsoft applications as Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL will need a Windows server. Linux servers are compatible with MySQL databases with PHP technology and are much cheaper.

- Languages and Databases

Must have at least an updated database. Linux must support PHP and Perl and MySQL databases. Must To provide access to the folder cgi-bin which will be useful especially if you plan to develop an electronic business. If using Windows servers should at least provide for Access and SQL Server.

- Support

Check the media, should at least offer support via email, preferably 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, although it would be advisable to also provide phone support. Make a test and refer any questions to see if they respond quickly and effectively enough to meet their needs.

- FTP Access

Some providers offer very cheap no FTP access, which is essential if you want to add content to your site regularly. Check whether you can change permissions and have multiple FTP accounts that will be useful if your page is created by more than one person.

- Email

How many email accounts provide? Must offer POP accounts in order to access your mail from your computer and also provide Webmail to manage their email directly from the web. See also if they provide autoresponders, very useful especially if you have an e-commerce.

- Control Panel

You must have a control panel intuitive that allows a complete management of your account. The best control panels are useful software preinstalled scripts. Some of the best known are: Elephant or Fantastico, Cpanel, Ensim and Plesk and Hsphere

- Domains

Must have at least one domain with infinite subdomains. The best companies offer usually 5 or more domains.

- Statistics

Do you provide detailed statistics to monitor traffic to your website traffic?

The minimum is 50 MB recommended for cheaper accommodations.

- Bandwidth

The main difference between basic plans and services more expensive is the amount of bandwidth allowed per month.
To calculate how much bandwidth you need, multiply your daily visits X page views each X half the space occupied by each page X 30 days.
Example: 100 visits per day, 5 pages viewed per visitor, with pages that would occupy 45 kb: 100 KB X 5 X 45 X 30 = 675,000 KB = 675 MB.
Try to hire the maximum bandwidth that can afford with your budget. Beware of providers who offer unlimited bandwidth, well read the fine print of the terms and conditions as they usually have some sort of restriction. Check that extra fee will apply if you exceed the bandwidth and options for increased bandwidth hired.

- E-commerce

If you plan to put a store online or servcios offer through the website that require a shopping cart, secure payments and secure transfer of data to make sure your web hosting support SSL.

The average price for a professional web hosting is usually between 6 and 45 € a month depending on services offered.

Compare with all hosting providers before you buy, do not be afraid to make all sorts of questions and note that if you intend to expand their business, 25 € 8 per month per domain gets a lot more profitable than € 10 per month for one.

However it is important to note the fact that these services have a pay plan wherein you can opt for the removal of the ads.

Web Hosting Features

Buying a reliable web hosting solution is a crucial decision. You need a reliable web hosting service that will allow online visitors to browse through your site effortlessly, whether you are doing online business, providing important information or sharing views online on a common interest,. Your website has to be downloaded, browsed and updated in minimal time if it is only powerful web hosting.

Identifying a web host can be a very overwhelming task especially when there are so many offers and all of them assure one thing or another.

Web hosts are also changing, with the changing trend of technology. In addition to their basic ones, most of them provide various services. Running an e-commerce website need high end security and a medium through which you can manage your web content competently. However you can miss out on serious revenues and prospective clients if your web hosting service is not reliable.

Once you have determined and recognized the required web hosting services your online business, then time to enlist certain web hosting features and options you must consider. You can find below some of the a good number of vital aspects of web hosting:

Bandwidth and Disk space

One should know how much room your website would need and estimated data it will produce. Disk Space actually refers to the amount of storage assigned to you by the web hosting provider. The amount of upload and download that is allowed to access your website is known as Bandwidth. Higher storage area and greater bandwidth are required in case your website has a lot of graphics.

Programming Tools and the OS

The latest Operating System is referred as secure servers, should be used to upload the website. UNIX based operating system, usually Linux or BSD is mostly used by Web hosts. Windows based host is needed for running various web application such as DOT NET, ASP, MS SQL.

Pricing Aspect

One should compare pricing before finalizing a web hosting service. Some may provide you superior services but at low pricing. The best hosting services are not always the most expensive. Research and search has to be done in this regard and then finalize.

Support, Security, Guaranteed uptime and Backups

Two very important aspects viz. Security and backups require high level of consideration. Web hosting service should be reliable with telephone support. Some also offer round the clock support through toll-free numbers or local numbers. Security is one aspect that you just cannot discard in case you are running an ecommerce website. Web hosting service provider should be such that they can keep an eye on things 24x7 and ensure no superfluous intruder can hack your site.

Reliable VPS Hosting and Dedicated Hosting

For the small business owner, getting the right hosting plan can be a difficult decision. That is because there are so many types of plans around, and it's difficult to tell which plan is the most ideal plan for the business. To overcome this problem, the business owner has to understand what is being offered by each plan or package. For example, VPS and dedicated hosting seems to be the craze among webmasters these days. But are they the right solution for you?

VPS Hosting.

VPS stands of virtual private server. This plan arises because there is a need for businesses on shared hosting plans to use more resources. Usually, a shared environment is less stable because the same server hosts several hundreds sites. This means there is a competition for server resources. The more sites hosted on the server, the poorer the performance.

The next logical step would be to sign up for a dedicated server solution (more on this later). However, it costs ten times as much to rent a dedicated server, and in many cases, it is true that having a dedicated system is an overkill. The problem is, there is no "in-between" solution to choose from.

The VPS solution is meant to fill this gap. It allows the customer to host his site in a shared environment, but the resources are of the server are dedicated to just his account. That means the site still sits on the same server, but the performance is no longer affected by the other sites. This solution is known as VPS. Of course, you can expect VPS plans to be cheaper than dedicated servers.

Dedicated web hosting.

Dedicated hosting is more for companies who need to run resource intensive software on the servers. For example, you may wish to install a modern customer management software (CMS) that may require a lot more resources than a traditional website. Or you find that the website you own has grown tremendously and you need more power to support the growth. In this case, you may make the leap from shared hosting or VPS to a dedicated hosting environment.

For such hosting plans, there price range can vary greatly. The price depends very much on the type of system that you choose. The more powerful the system, the higher the price. Therefore, you need to understand the demands of your website or applications before signing up for a dedicated server. If you are unsure, sign up for a plan that allows you to upgrade later on. If you have the budget, you may even wish to consider signing up for managed hosting.

For both VPS and dedicated hosting, you get a lot of freedom when it comes to system configuration. To put this in another way, you can act as if you own the server, and configure it anyway you like. You can't do this in a shared hosting environment. This benefit comes in handy especially when you have custom built software that require you to tweak the server settings.

Free Web Hosting vs. Paying for Web Hosting

Many small business owners realize the potential of starting a website for their business. If you look around online the temptation to choose a free Web Host for your site may be hard to pass up. I warn you, you are only putting your business at risk when you choose to use a free Web Host. The professional and trustworthy look attained from paying for Web Hosting is just not possible if you go with a free Host. Here are the major benefits of paying for your website:

Content Control. When you pay for hosting you decide what goes on your website. Whereas, almost all free Web Hosts post their own ads as well as other companies ads on your site; this is how they make money, since they are not charging you. The last thing you want your website viewers to think is that your site is a giant infomercial.

Legitimate URL. If you pay for a Web Host you will have the opportunity to choose any domain name or URL that is currently available. If you decide to use a free Web Host you will most likely be forced to use a URL that promotes the free Host rather than yourself (ex: http://www.freehostsite.com/YOURNAME). A URL that is not solely focused on your site name will not be effective. It is unprofessional and it is much more difficult to remember for internet users.

Space. One of the best parts of paying for a Web Host is the option of having as little or as much space as you need. Depending on the size of your site and the amount of traffic (people actually visiting your site) you will have the option of purchasing a plan to meet your size needs, in GB’s (Free Hosts usually max out at 10GB).

Service. When you pay for Web Hosting you are also paying for service. Service includes up time, customer support, and additional add-ons for your website. Most Hosts offer 99.9% up time, where free Hosts usually don’t even specify the up time they offer. Again, with customer support, the majority of paid Web Hosts offer a 24-hour customer support phone line, where the free Host may not offer a phone line at all. The additional add-ons are where you get the opportunity to personalize your site. You can add an online store, start a blog, utilize marketing tools and SEO, and many other options.

Keep these key pieces in mind when you decide on choosing a Web Host. If you want to operate a successful Website for your business you will need to pay for Hosting, otherwise you’ll fall short in every aspect of your website. A free Host is good for beginners learning the basics of running a website, but is not effective in achieving optimal performance for a business.

Tips to Choose Your Managed Hosting Provider

As they say, only asking the right questions would fetch the right answers. For the small or medium-sized enterprise, this implies very much while choosing a managed hosting provider.

It is important to be aware of the strengths and limitations of your managed hosting provider as that would determine the quality of service offered to your business. As hosting is available in many shapes and sizes, it is becoming difficult to discover the right managed hosting provider. In essence, one should be aware of all the parameters to evaluate the right managed hosting partner.

Outlined below are the considerations that will help you to understand and select the right managed hosting service to fit your business needs.

Past Performance and Experience – Figures and statistics hide more than what they reveal. So scrutinize business figures of all the managed hosting providers. Verify their past performance and the amount of experience in managed hosting. If possible, talk to the existing customers of managed hosting provider to know about the real service delivery efficiency. It’s also a good idea to evaluate the service based on hosting provider’s expertise, implementation processes, deployment speed, compliance level and visibility in the market.

Technology Infrastructure – The best-of-breed technology solutions can provide a competitive edge to an organization. So it is critical to examine the quality of the IT infrastructure your managed hosting provider. Ensure that you get the latest staples in the technology at competitive prices and advanced technical applications and tools are used to serve your business.

Maximum Uptime – Uptime is very important as this directly impact the business productivity. Though anything above 98% is considered very good uptime still try to find out the approx 99.99% guaranteed uptime and also keep notice of the additional cost that comes with every single 9 attached in the digit. Read all the clauses as few outages don’t come under the SLAs.

Overall Cost – The cost of a managed hosting plan can vary according to the different packages offered by the hosting provider. So compare and evaluate every single hosting package and focus on their respective features, associated cost, and SLAs. Choose a managed hosting plan which meets your business needs fully. Many managed hosting providers offer flexible hosting plans which can be modified as your need grows. Usually, a monthly payment plan is preferred as that works best for beginners.

Support – One of the most important things that you can enquire about is the support provided by the managed hosting provider such as telephone support, email, FAQ sections, etc. Having 24x7 support at your fingertips can be a big motivation to choose the best managed hosting provider. Poor support means more cost and less efficiency and vice-versa.

These factors would help you to decide whether a managed hosting provider can understand their specific requirements easily and facilitate enough support to business or not. Achieve the promised outcome of managed hosting by asking the right questions and choosing a suitable managed hosting provider!

Affordable Web Hosting for Small Businesses

The majority of small business owners are paying too much for their Web Hosting; $10, $15, and even more than $20 a month. The main reason for this is lack of knowledge, which allows for shameless web agencies to make overpriced recommendations for unreliable Web Hosts. So, as a small business owner, you need to take it upon yourself to learn some of the basics about Web Hosting, otherwise you’ll end up paying too much. After all, you do this for anything else you would buy. Would you buy a car without knowing what features it had, and then come to find out it doesn’t have AC and it only gets 7 miles to the gallon…no! Same thing with Web Hosting, don’t buy what you don’t know. Here are some starting points to think about when choosing a Web Hosting plan:

Disk Space. How much disk space do you need? This is where most website owners make the first mistake. Many providers offer three plans tailored for a certain size website. If you don’t know how much disk space you need, you’ll need to find out. The last thing you want to do is spend $30 a month on a hosting plan meant for a site that is ten times the size of your own. Most small businesses start under 10 GB’s of disk space, which should only cost you around $5.

Customer Support. From the service you receive when you talk with a representative on the phone, to the actual up time of the website, customer support is one of the most important aspects to examine when choosing a Web Host. The up time, meaning the actual time that your website is working properly, should be no less than 99.9%. Technology these days is too good for it to be otherwise. Another thing that small business owners overlook is the customer service. You should be able to get a hold of a service representative over the phone with little difficulty. If a Web Host only offers customer service through e-mail, then you can forget about them as an option to host your site.

Add-ons. Almost every Web Host you consider will have the option to add-on services that create a stronger site for your business. These add-ons are a great tool to use, especially for customer service efficiency and e-commerce; just don’t end up with a shopping cart if you don’t sell anything on your site! Many common add-ons include blogs, podcasts, shopping carts, SEO options, SSL certificates, etc.

Price. $5 for a basic small business website is the most you should spend on Hosting. The add-ons will be more, but any Web Host trying to get you to pay $10 for 10 GB’s of disk space understands they are ripping people off. Of course the larger your site becomes you may need to upgrade, but you can do more with 10 GB’s of disk space than you think. You don’t overcharge your customers, and your Web Host shouldn’t overcharge you.

These are just the basics when looking for a Web Host. To start finding a hosting plan I recommend looking on WebHostingGeeks.com. You can match up a host to the needs of your small business. One Web Host that I recommend for small businesses is TheBlueKingdom.com. You can get a plan for $3.99 a month and pick and choose from affordable add-ons to meet your business needs. That is what a Web Host should do for you. Do a little research, know what you are looking for, and receive what you deserve from your Web Host.

Finding the Right Host to Support Your Customers

There are several things that you should look for when you are getting a web hosting service. The first thing you want to make sure of is that they have adequate support for their customers. Many times hosting sites will be able to offer you amazing rates but will cut corners on the support that they offer.

Some may only offer support to you and even then it will be spotty at best. If you are looking for a true partner in your web business your host service needs to supply you with some basic services.

You can choose to avoid having these things, but support for your customers will be extremely lacking. It is only a matter of time that you lose some or all because of a failure of your hosting site.

The first thing that is a must have is twenty four hours a day, seven days a week support. One of the huge advantages of the Internet is that it is available around the world at any time. The Internet literally never sleeps and never do your customers.

Therefor whoever is hosting and running your site needs to be prepared if something goes down. Be able to service you and your customers twenty four hours a day is of the utmost importance. In addition to this the hosting service needs to respond quickly to your problems.

The ability to communicate with them instantly and at all times is probably the most important part of support you and your customer base. It is also very helpful if the hosting site can speak the language of your customers. Having multilingual support technicians is a big bonus in my mind. Even it is only a couple different languages this can go a long way to expanding your customer base.

How the host organizes and communicates with you and your customers is also very important. You want to make sure that they have a spot where you customer can check for relevant issues and questions.

You also want to make sure that they have in place a system to track calls and emails that you and your customers send in. You also want to make sure that they will support your customer if they call in experiencing issues with your site. Some host sites will only support the paying customer and not others who call in with issues. You need to find a host who can take care of your customers when you can not be there.

If you can find a host site that does all of these things in support of the customers than you have found a winner. It may end up costing you a bit more, but in the long run it will be worth it.

This is especially true if you can keep and gain customers because of the service they provide. Without this kind of support you could putting your business at risk. Do the right thing and take care of your customer base and yourself by working with the right people.

How to find the right Web Host for your needs?

The key to this is to know your needs and requirements, and then find one web host from the crowd out there that is going to be a good partner to you in your online endeavors. The web hosting industry is incredibly competitive today, and they know that users are becoming increasingly sophisticated, so they have no choice but to provide their clients with better and better service, or else risk losing them to any one of the waiting pack of others. We are going to discuss some of most important features below, and explain briefly why they should be major factors in making your decision.

1)Type of website to be hosted
If it is personal and just for fun, there are many free hosting options available for you, with a few small catches. You will most likely have to display some banner advertising on your page in exchange for this service. If your site is business-related, then you should by all means find a good commercial host. You should also have your own domain name and IP address. Free accounts are not for anyone even half serious about doing business on the web.

2)Affordable Price
The cost of web hosting ranges anywhere from totally free to thousands of dollars a month for a dedicated server, depending on the features you need and the options available on the particular package you choose, check if there is a requirement to sign up for a minimum period; and if your package is scalable, meaning that upgrades will not be a problem or burden for you when the time comes.

3)Choosing the Platform: Linux or Microsoft Exchange
The choice depends on what kind of website you have and what you need to be served, if you're putting up a basic site with standard HTML, without any server side scripting or database support. For most people just starting out, a Linux server is fine; but if you plan to use databases or ASP on your site, then you should go with Microsoft Exchange.

4)Space and traffic requirements
Space and traffic are often the basis for many web hosts rates, whether or not this has any basis in reality. I say this because the majority of sites require only a few megabytes (MBs) of space and the amount of traffic they will receive is rarely an issue.

5)Bundled email accounts
This is an often underrated feature of web hosting packages, since emails are essentially the lifeblood of an online business. Be sure that your package contains enough emails and aliases for your business, preferably an unlimited number of both. Be careful from the start and choose a package that meets your needs.

6)24/7 customer support
Many Web Hosts offer both email and phone support while others are available only via email. A competent host should offer 24/7 toll-free technical support provided by experienced, professionally trained technicians.

7)Maximum Uptime
Many companies will say they're up 99.9% of the time when the reality may be quite different. Look into this as much as possible and again, check with as many references as possible to find out their experiences.

In the end, choosing the right Web Host really depends on your individual needs. Subsequently, what may constitute the perfect Web Host for one person may not meet the needs of another. It is up to you to decide, through a combination of logic, research skills, and a dash of intuition.

Depending on your budget and preparation time, you can choose to hire a spa professional or mobile massage therapist to provide treatment services, or you can plan your own party, complete with bath and body products and do-it-yourself home spa treatments.

Hiring a professional saves you a lot of hassle and allows you and your guests to indulge in the ultimate spa and massage experience. Some mobile services provide everything needed for your spa party at home, including refreshments and gifts, so all you have to do is relax and let the professionals worry about the details.

If you're considering hiring a spa professional or therapist, take into account what type of treatments you want to offer your guests. A therapist can offer table massage in a separate room or chair massage in an open area, where your guests can remain fully clothed. They can also provide hand and foot massage for your guests.

Spa professionals, on the other hand, specialize in treatments such as facials, manicures, pedicures, and body scrubs and wraps. Some mobile therapists offer both massage and spa treatments. One way to show your appreciation to the therapist or professional you hire is to purchase a gift certificate for massage therapy or beauty treatments and offer it as a door prize for your guests.

Planning your own home spa party takes time and effort but also saves you the expense of hiring a professional. If you enjoy the work that goes into planning a party, this option may be for you.

As you plan out your home spa night, make sure the decor and atmosphere appeal to all five senses:

Taste

Light refreshments or a light meal are central to the spa experience. Arrange a platter of fruit and vegetables with dip. Fondue, with chocolate, cheese, and other sauces, is sure to be a hit. Finger foods allow your guests to nibble away as they mingle. Place decorative bowls with chocolate and sweets throughout the room. Use a variety of colors and texture for your refreshments to appeal to the eye as well as the taste buds.

Touch

Enhance your home spa with relaxing and therapeutic touch. Provide massage oil and lotion for your guests to pamper each other with hand treatments. Do a little research beforehand on hand massage techniques so you can give your guests some basic pointers. You can also provide massagers such as a variable speed vibrator or handheld tool.

Sight

Select a theme for your party and work it into all of your preparations to create a unified feel to the entire home spa experience. Use a large room or several connecting rooms so that you have plenty of space for your spa stations and guests. Set up intimate seating areas with throw pillows and comfy furniture. Light candles for a soft lighting effect.

Sound

Infuse a soothing tone into your home with soft background music. Instrumental music or nature sounds such as ocean waves or gentle rain will relax your guests. Choose music selections that complement the theme of your spa party.

Scent

The delicate scent of aromatherapy candles invites your guests to relax without overwhelming the senses. Candles also create aesthetic appeal with their warm, inviting glow.

You may want to set up several different spa stations to keep things moving. Organize a facial bar, manicure and pedicure station, and a station for your guests to make their own bath and body products. You can demonstrate the techniques for each station or leave several step-by-step instruction cards on each table to guide your guests in a luxurious home spa experience.

The Essentials of the Web Hosting Business

In this article we'll discuss the very basics of the Web hosting business.

Web hosting is quite simply the service of preserving and displaying Web pages to the World Wide Web. The hosting company is the entity that allows individuals and businesses to show content on the Internet. The actual mechanics of web hosting can get quite complicated.

Internet service providers (ISPs) and Web hosting companies are not the same thing. If you need Internet access then you need an ISP. But in order to publish content on the Internet a Web hosting company will be a necessity. Many Internet service providers will give their customers a small amount of free hosting for a personal Web site. If you require a Web site for business purposes you'll definitely want a company that specializes in Web hosting only.

Serving Web pages is not quite as easy as it may sound. Web sites need to be operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year. This puts an incredible amount of stress on both the people and the equipment that operate in a Web hosting environment.

To properly host a large number of websites expensive equipment is needed. High-end computers are required to meet the ongoing demands. These computers, or Web page 'servers', use large amounts of power and get very hot. Additional power is then required to cool the Web servers off. They also require special facilities that are kept clean and cool. Often times, data centers will have several large air conditioning units specifically to pump cold air onto the servers. It's also a wise choice to have industrial size backup generators in case anything was to happen to the power.

Connecting to a backbone provider is also needed to provide adequate transfer speed. These backbone providers, or network service providers, give the hosting company direct access to the Internet trunk lines. This access is sold by what is called bandwidth. Web hosting companies buy this bandwidth and then resell it to their customers. Bandwidth is simply the amount of information transmitted along a communications channel in a given period of time.

The backend structure of the Web hosting business is rather complicated. To balance the high operational costs Web hosting companies deal in volume. Web servers can present 1000's of Web sites per server. Adding everything up, there is a specific amount of money required to maintain a constantly running Web server. So each new site added to a server will decrease the overall cost per customer.

But, hosting too many Web sites on one server will start to decrease the speed and performance of the sites hosted on it. Then customers will experience the speed of their Web sites begin to slow down and might start to see general page errors when trying to load their site. Between high operational costs and server performance, Web hosting companies must maintain a balance.

Web sites must be running all the time. This increases the human costs beyond that of a normal business. The hosting company must maintain a staff on location at all times. Instead of just one 8 hour shift there are three 8 hour shifts. Weekends must be covered too. Usually though, off hours staff are there in a technical support capacity only.

In conclusion, many components must come together in order for Web sites to be viewable on the Internet. These different systems include computer hardware, software and networking. This combination together with the human component is what makes the Internet what it is today.

Web Hosting Companies for Getting Professional Hosting Services

Are you planning to hire a web hosting company for your website, and in dilemma which one to choose? The major concern is to check on the reliability of the web hosting companies that have been shortlisted. Setting up a system on internet for selling of goods is not hard and anyone can do it. But many companies end up on a hosting server that hamper the operations of the website. Best way to ensure reliability of the service provider is to find out for how many years they have been in business.

You should have clear idea as to what are your true needs. It is not fixed that only higher price can give you best quality of hosting services. In real the most important thing expected from web hosting provider is combination of different features that are of superior quality.

Experts advice that its not a good idea to focus more on headline figures. For all-round website development you need web hosting company that is reliable and trust-worthy. Generally the bigger headlines do not offer complete picture about the offerings.

With increase in online competition among websites, selecting right web hosting company is rather important. The service provider that you choose should be able to cope up with the competition.

Usually a server runs a website and it is important especially for content based and Ecommerce sites. The task of web hosting company is to maintain the server. See to it that you get assurance from the web hosting company that their server is up for all the time. A server that is down most of the time is not liked by anyone.

In order to decide on which hosting company can provide you the type of service that you need, you should carefully consider the web host review. It gives an idea as to whether they can fulfill your expectations and the quality of services that can be expected.

The reason behind considering reviews is, they contain useful comments and feedbacks from the past clients and present ones about the service provider. It solves the dilemma as to which company is fit for your business.

You can find good web hosting company online that can meet up your demands. Every company claims that they are the best and can give desired results. You have to scan them and decide which one is speaking truth. Online forums also gives valuable feedback regarding best web hosting companies in the market.

Web Site Hosting - A Review Guide

Web Hosting – Made Simple

What is web hosting anyway? Web pages basically consist of text and images. The look of the web page is called design. You can think of web servers as computers storing the files of tens or hundreds of web sites. A web-hosting provider can have dozens of web servers hosting thousands of web sites. The terminology associated with web hosting can be quite dazzling: virtual web hosting, dedicated hosting; co-locating hosting, shared hosting reseller hosting.

Shared Web Hosting

Shared web hosting or virtual web hosting are two terms for the same thing. Shared web hosting means that on a web server are hosted many web sites that all have a defined quota of HDD space and bandwidth. They all run simultaneously and there can be from hundreds to thousands of web sites on the same web server.

The greater number of web sites sharing the resources of a web server (HDD space, bandwidth, memory, CPU time), the web hosting provider can afford to offer its services at a lower cost.

Reseller Web Hosting

When web-hosting providers offer their services, typically with a discount, to a third-party (a reseller that will thus become a web-hosting provider itself) and the latter subsequently offers web-hosting services under his branding. Indeed technically the reseller web hosting is very similar to shared web hosting, as many web sites end up sharing space and bandwidth on the same web server. The resellers usually are web designers or web developers who offer web hosting services as part of their integrated services.

Compared with the shared web hosting, this system has technical support problem.

Dedicated Web Hosting

In dedicated web hosting one single web server is rented to a single customer. Although this is the common belief, web-hosting providers usually divide a single web server computer between up to three customers. On the other hand there are web-hosting providers that actually give an entire web server to a customer. Even with three customers sharing the web server, the dedicated web hosting option offers the customers the option to host more than one web site, configure the software to best meet the needs of his site or scale the available bandwidth.

Co-location Web Hosting

Co-locating web hosting is similar with dedicated web hosting. The main difference is that while in dedicated web hosting the web server computer belongs to the web-hosting provider and is only rented by the customer, in co-locating web hosting the customer owns the web server computer. The web-hosting provider only houses the web server computer and sells bandwidth to the customer. This gives the customer using co-locating web hosting full control of the web server combined with the security of the data center.

Internet Web Site Hosting - Fast Overview!

Internet web site hosting is the process by which the pages of a web site stored on a web server are served to the requesting browser. The hosting service provides the owner of the web site, some space to keep his or her web pages physically stored on their web server, and allowing them to be made available to the browsers which request each web page. Internet web site hosting is similar to taking a room on hire. The concept of internet web hosting is very simple. The web servers need to remain connected permanently to the internet over high speed links which are usually not affordable for general web masters to maintain these web server computers just for themselves. So these web masters use the service of web hosting companies who own and maintain web servers in their data farms, and provide shared or dedicated internet web site hosting services to all those who require it, for a fee.

Shared internet web site hosting is a low cost alternative to the one IP one Web site hosting method. Shared Internet web site hosting allows the hosting company, who owns the web server doing the hosting, to host multiple websites on a single machine. The computers used for Internet web site hosting need a dedicated high speed always-on connection to the Internet.

Choosing The Right Type of Web Hosting

When you are launching your website on the internet, an important issue that has to be taken care of is the kind of web hosting service that you will use. The website may have a diverse nature of functions, either as a business website or a personal website. But, they all need to be properly hosted and thus selecting a correct web hosting type becomes vital. Usually there are three types of hosting available with the companies ? free hosting, shared or virtual hosting and dedicated hosting.

Free hosting is very popular among those who wish to test the worldwide web with some basic website. It's the most convenient web hosting type for beginners and personal site owners. Since there are not many resources to create advanced websites with a free hosting service, it's best for personal sites, such as those for family or hobbies.

There is are some limitations in free hosting. You cannot choose the domain name which you like because this web hosting type is offered for sub-domains. So, in case you want to name your website ?my hobby? it would become something like ?http://www.freesiteforme.com/myname/myhobby?. It's a long name and will be difficult to remember. With potential typing errors, your website may not be accessible to many people. Free hosting should not be used for business sites.

Shared or virtual hosting is the next option, which is opted for by small and medium scale businesses. This web hosting type is very cost effective and offers some resources that can help with site development, promotion and maintenance. These include databases, email accounts, add-on components, web editing software and more. You can use a preferred domain with shared hosting and technical support is readily available.

The term shared or virtual hosting means this web hosting type allows your website to be placed in a large powerful server, which is used by hundreds of other sites too. The advantages are clearly the low price and easy use. With shared hosting, you might experience some restrictions on bandwidth and security because of the other sites relying on the same resources.

The third option available as a web hosting type is dedicated hosting. Best suited for large websites with major traffic volumes or websites with the necessity to host specialist software, dedicated hosting is very powerful and completely secure. You get the entire server for your website, which naturally makes it the most expensive hosting solution. It also requires better web development and administration skills to update and maintain. If you can afford it, it's the best hosting solution you can get for your money, as you can host multiple domains and allocate a variety of software resources to each.

Besides these hosting types, there's an additional web hosting type that hasn't been considered much as a primary hosting type. This is known as collocated hosting. It's simply a way of placing your own web server in a specific premises, under the care of a service provider. Similar to running your own server from your home or office, it only differs when it concerns the server's physical location. A service provider can offer better security and dedicated utilities such as electricity and internet for more effective web hosting. This type of hosting is clearly very expensive and requires a lot of configuring.

Hosting Company Must Do’s

Having the right hosting company for your online business is crucial if you are looking to expand and grow your business over the years. It is especially important as well if you intend to have a “brand” of websites or simply several websites with plans for expansion. Recently I was asked why I don’t recommend GoDaddy for hosting. Well, the reason is that GoDaddy has a lot of limitations for the online business owner and these limitations can hurt an online business.

You need to find a hosting company that has the following:

Find a hosting company that is going to give you your own unique IP address. It’s going to help you from a search engine marketing perspective and an email marketing perspective. If you have a unique IP address already and are thinking about giving it up, I wouldn’t recommend it because right now IPs are like gold on the internet. You’re going to have to get a special account where you are getting that unique IP address. If you’re just starting out online having a unique IP address isn’t a real concern. But if you plan to grow your business it is crucial that you get one.

You also want to find a hosting company that has cPanel . Having cPanel let’s you know that a particular hosting company runs on a Unix/Linux server. The reason for this is being on a Windows server has issues similar to the same issues as if you’re using a Windows computer. You don’t want to be on a Windows server. A lot GoDaddy is a very Microsoft based. They do a lot of business with Microsoft so a lot of their things are Microsoft-driven. I’m totally against Microsoft-driven servers because there are simply too many problems and limitations for the average business owner.

Another reason I don’t recommend GoDaddy is their limitations for sending autoresponder emails. I recommend you use Autoresponse Plus and I also recommend that you install it on your hosting account. GoDaddy servers are problematic in regards to this. Their servers are not set up to work well with Autoresponse Plus. They limit the number of emails you can send out per day. I’m not sure of the exact number but you’re only allowed to send about 200 emails per day with the GoDaddy servers. After that they start charging you. Once you go past 200 a day, for every ten emails you send out beyond that number, they charge you around ten bucks or something like that. Now to me that’s insane because as a business owner especially if you’ve been around for a long time, your lists will be far greater than 200. This is a huge limitation for any online business. Now you can see how important it is to choose your hosting company wisely.

Since we know that GoDaddy’s hosting company is not the best fit, what are the best hosting companies in my opinion? Well, there are several companies that offer the necessary capabilities outlined above. I highly recommend FatJack as it has everything I’ve mentioned above.

There is also ThirdSphere. However, there are some issues when dealing with ThirdSphere, especially if you build your list beyond 20,000 people. I recall this being the limit. Once you get past 20,000, you start getting charged for sending out emails above that number. If you don’t plan on building a list that big then you could look into their services.

But remember, getting a Unix/Linux server for your hosting account is extremely important. I can’t recommend this enough. Planning ahead and understanding the software and their capabilities is essential to running a profitable online business. Failing to do the research could kill your company. Hopefully I’ve assisted you in making an informative decision. I’d like you to grow your company even further than you can imagine. Good luck!

Windows Dedicated Server Hosting Advantages

Some years ago, Linux was often preferred by most webmasters. Systems running the Microsoft Windows NT4 were critiqued, neglected because of lack of security, and difficulty to administer. According to many, Linux has simplified core, which could be easily reduced to the sole purpose of web hosting, unlike windows.

Listening to those critics, Microsoft launched Windows 2000 server that is not only secure adequately, but also easy to use, even by computer newbies. With the development of Windows 2000, Microsoft offered webmasters (1) a more secure system based on a new core, and (2) an interface like Windows 98, but much easier to be administered. The development of Windows Server 2003 family (Windows Server 2003 Web Edition, Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition, Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, and Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition) offers even more advantages; some of them include:

Rapid Deployment of Applications with the Integrated Web Application Server - The integrated Microsoft. NET is deeply integrated into the operating system Windows Server 2003 R2, enabling the creation of high-performance Web applications without ambiguity.

In addition, only Microsoft Windows server can use all existing technologies such as ASP,. NET, PHP, MySQL, MS SQL, Access, Outlook, Java, Python, Perl, AJAX, Sylverlight, and more. Linux, in contrast, does not allow use of Framework. NET and the support of ASP via an emulator or an Apache module, …

Your Business Can’t Afford To Pick The Wrong Hosting Company

There are literally thousands to choose from, and each touts themselves to be the best. Some will entice with incredibly low prices for the most basic of hosting plans and assurances it's all you really need for your company right now. Others will dangle the simplicity of a template collection for site building, saving you thousands since you wouldn't need a designer messing with your business image.

Almost every site will push the claim of having the best uptime, often with cautions that 'the other hosts' don't maintain their equipment as well, so your site may be regularly offline and inaccessible if you go elsewhere.

Let's cut straight to how you better make sure you've protected yourself, and the company, by making the right choice - without spending months on research.

ELIMINATE 98% OF CHOICES IN MINUTES

Promises of great service are easy to fulfill when no problems are encountered, but the true test of Great Service happens when a glitch in the flow actually happens.

No matter how hard we try, every business owner knows bumps in the road happen in the real world. Whether it's a delivery late for pickup, a customer changing their order at the last minute, or even the office or production equipment needing some unexpected and sudden quick maintenance or repair: your client doesn't care about the details, they just want their order now!

It's all part of daily business, but how we handle these hazards will determine how solidly we maintain our client's respect and continued business. You can use that same strategy to help determine the strength and support of your Hosting candidates.

Though it's only common sense that any Hosting company with a poorly done website should be immediately dropped from consideration, it should be the first item used to weed out poor choices. Forget the hype or promises: if the Hosting company is amateurish in their presentation online, they aren't likely to be savvy in delivering the quality or support when you need it.

Now that the obvious is out of the way, we'll focus on your best revealing tool. Look at what methods of communication the Hosting service provides: phone, email, troubleshooting ticket support, and the most powerful (though least often used exposing source) - the forum.

PHONE SUPPORT:

Hosting services deal with clients across borders and time zones. Though they may display regular office hours, the first question you should ask is how you can get support outside of their regular hours. Most solid Hosting companies have tech support staff on duty at all time. If equipment should happen to fail during the night, you need to know somebody will be working on getting everything back to full speed right away, not whenever the empty office shows up the next morning.

EMAIL SUPPORT:

Likewise with email support: if nobody is there to respond when a problem should arise, you will be left without support until workers begin their day - which means your clients will also be left waiting.

If you email the Host during business hours, even with a general inquiry, how long are you waiting for a response. Test a company by emailing a simple question such as "How long would it take before I can use my account after I set it up?"

The answer itself is straightforward, but what you're checking for is response time. If you don't get a reply for more than a day (if at all), then you know you aren't likely to get help for more critical matters.

TICKET SUPPORT:

This is your direct fast-track for specific account tech support. A Ticket support is given priority, and you should receive at least the first response from an actual tech staff member very shortly. Smart businesses may even register for the most basic short term account just to test the response time: it's a good investment if a Hosting company is on a deciding shortlist.

GEAK SPEAK vs. NOVICE REPLIES

How well can your Hosting service communicate? Good tech service understands that most people need to be walked through online questions without a swarm of confusing technical settings and terms to follow. At the same time, if you or your staff are tech savvy, you'll want to make sure the support staff can give you the specific technical settings without the slower hand holding explanations.

FORUMS: Your Best Behind-The-Scenes Spy

A Hosting company should have an active (and interactive) forum in their own site. This will give you immediate insight as to their professionalism.

- Organizational Strength: Look for organized topics, covering a good range of subjects such as Pre-Sales Questions, Server Status Information, Online Help Desk (with specific helpful sub-categories), Beginner and Advanced 'How-To' references, and even Site Programming and Code discussions.

- Pre-Sales Questions: The forum should (hopefully) have a section for questions by people and companies considering the host. This is not only a great way to get answers to the most common questions asked, but also a wealth of questions you should also be asking from your potential Host.

Pay particular attention to 'Who' is answering, and how fast they respond. Maintaining a good forum is time consuming, so you absolutely want to see a lot of swift activity by staff members. That's a sign support and helpfulness is full priority within the Host.

Best yet, see if current clients respond to queries. When you see the Host's own customers taking time out to respond, you know they're satisfied and anxious to share their feedback and support.

- Negative Feedback: The most telling sign of all - a good Host should openly allow negative feedback and concerns about their services. That shows they aren't trying to hide anything. Pay attention to how they handle the negatives: are they defensive, or are they calm and professional.

Beware of Hosts which show negative posts, and suddenly those posts are all deleted quickly. It's questionable when a site only allows positive responses about themselves.

Managed hosting services are one answer for this but again the cost becomes a deterring factor. On the other hand the shared hosting options have their own dark side. The hosting providers who promise unlimited domain and unlimited bandwidth are helpless when a client overloads there infrastructure with millions page requests. As a result of which other customers sharing the same infrastructure suffer.

In such a landscape webmasters looking for Cheap dedicated hosting options often get lost in search results. Deepak Nanda, who works as a Senior Technical Analyst in a software development company in India ( is a webmaster when he is back at home) says, in his last 10 years of experience with website hosting he has seen a very ugly face of shared hosting services companies online. He goes further in launching his own hosting service at an interestingly named website http://www.Ihatethiswebhost.com where is provides affordable cloud hosting packages. He further says, if cloud hosting packages start from $100 or even $50 per month then it might not be of solutions for many webmaster who are looking for cheap yet dedicated hosting service which is many folds superior to shared hosting but with in a manageable cost.

One particular thing that might be of interest to the readers is the actual chat transcripts that Deepak has posted on his site under story behind ihatethiswebhost.com. The transcripts describe the shared hosting blues he has faced and what motivated him to start Ihatethiswebhost.com. The story behind this cloud hosting site link is one of thousand experiences that he has had with such shared hosting providers, Deepak explains.

Cloud sites is a concept where a huge, multiple infrastructure is inter connected in such a redundant fashion that a particular site served from multiple nodes at the same time, so if a particular node gets more load then automatically other nodes come into play and join hands. That is a 10000 miles view of the cloud computing concept. Hopefully, Cloud sites will be an answer to the webmasters who are looking for Cheap Dedicated Hosting.

Making a Choice of Web Hosting Plan

With so many web hosting providers how can you choose the best one for you? You need to figure out your requirements and choose the one that best fits your needs. Here are few of the pointers which can help you to move in right direction to find out the best web hosting.

There are different types of web hosting accounts. Firstly, you have to decide what type of hosting account will fulfill your requirements and will be best for your business.

Free Web Hosting

There are many free web hosting sites available on the web. You can save your money by considering free web hosting services but usually they do not have great functionalities. There are many limitations or using free web hosting services which includes lower bandwidth, smaller size of hosted files, doesn't allow certain files like MP3, ZIP files etc.

Generally, with free hosting services, you have to place their advertisements on your web pages in the form of banners, pop ups or other adverts. Thus these free services are not preferred for online businesses.

Shared Web Hosting

Shared web hosting is the most commonly used web hosting service and also called virtual hosting. It refers to the web hosting service where multiple websites hosts on a single web server for multiple customers. On server, each site has its own section or place which keep it separate from other sites.

It offers more limited functionalities than dedicated hosting but provides enough bandwidth and storage space. Thus it is the most economical option for smaller business websites as many people share the overall server maintenance cost.

Dedicated Web Hosting

Dedicated web hosting servers are the type of hosting servers where client do not share with anyone but leases an entire server. In this, client have full control over the server including choice of operating system, hardware, etc.

These are much more expensive than shared hosting servers and to operate dedicated servers, a higher level of technical skills are required. This gives you much more place to grow your business.

There are few of the features which one have to keep in mind while going for any web hosting service.

Uptime: It refers to the time during which the site is fully operational without any restart. Reliable servers can go for months without any reboot. If your web hosting always goes down, it will hurt your website because visitors could not access your website whenever they needed.

Storage & Bandwidth: Storage space will define how many files you can store and depend upon the size of the web site & the type of files it stores. While bandwidth defines how many times visitor can request your files. It refers to data transfer which means the amount of information passed to & from the site.

E-mail accounts: With web hosting package, you will get the email accounts which can be customized by yourself. The number of e-mail accounts you need may affect which host you choose.

Support: Another important feature which must be keep in mind is, how good is the web hosting company in providing customer support? If you have any technical or billing issues, there must be quick response, so that you there will not be any problems.

Web Hosting Companies: The Price War

If you’ve ever wondered how shared web hosts can afford their steadily decreasing monthly fees, then you’re not alone. In an industry with standardized feature sets, price is one of the only features that can be changed to attract new customers. But with monthly fees already down to as low as $7.00, can hosts afford to drop any further? And if you’re a potential customer, how do you select the best web host for you with such similar features for the same price amongst the thousands of hosts out there?

First, remember that there are still some web hosting companies out there that are not aiming for the low-cost customer. The key features every new customer is looking for are price, bandwidth, features, reliability, and support. In the beginning, however, hosts only focused on space, bandwidth, and features. As technology developed to support unlimited bandwidth and storage, web hosts were forced to look for other ways to compete. One of those new areas was technical support. Only the larger hosting centers are able to support toll-free, 24/7 support centers. Calling a potential host during peak hours may be a quick way of determining their capabilities and overall advantage as a host. However as the industry’s evolved, most hosts are aware that this standard is necessary nowadays to be successful.

Second, hosts can only focus on certain areas. A cursory glance at the front page of a potential host should be all it takes to determine which areas it promotes as strengths. Again, the services are pretty similar, which is why shared hosts are being forced into a price war. While in the short run, such a war is great for customers, eventually reducing monthly fees as a strategy will not be possible.

Third, ask the hosting company how they can afford offering their users such a low monthly cost. The answer in most cases will be that without setup fees, such low prices can only be afforded if customers have a long-life span with the host. Web hosts depend upon customer longevity as well as loyalty. Most hosts only need their clients to stick with them for a year or more to make it worth it. Even more cost effective are the clients who purchase additional accounts, leaving older accounts dormant, using few resources.

Finally, where does this leave the customer? The price wars are only intensifying as hosts drop their prices lower and lower. But how will it all end? As hosting continues to evolve with the up-and-coming technology, the “new” feature or service will be found and offered by aggressive marketing before the rest of the competition finds it. That is one way the price wars may end, if only temporarily. Of one thing we’re certain is that dropping rates and rising features can only be good for the customer. If you’ve been waiting for the “right time” to get your own website, it’s now.

Locating Managed Dedicated Server Hosting For Your Website

If you have been online for an extended amount of time, then you probably know a thing or two about blogs and websites. You might also know that blogs are hosted on a web server, which is simply a computer that holds your sites files and is connected to the internet. When someone wants to access your site, they simply type the url into the browser address bar.

Lets say you want to start your own blog about stamp collecting but am unsure what you need to get that blog live. Well there are a couple of routes that you can go with depending on what your needs are.

We need to ask a few questions first.

* Is my site going to use a lot of media?
* How many visitors do you think will visit your site in a month?

Its pretty tough to judge site visitors at the get go because this depends a lot on your marketing efforts and the quality of your content on the site. Its important to know how much media your planning on using because if your site uses lots of video and pictures you'll have to get hosting that has a lot of memory and bandwidth per month. The next consideration is whether you need dedicated managed server hosting or non-managed dedicated server hosting. Basically, the only difference is whether you take care of the servers or if the hosting company takes care of the servers.

If you elect to go the non-managed route, then you will need to be a little more tech savvy then your newbie computer person. For those of us that don't have much experience running servers it is best to choose the managed dedicated server hosting. This way if anything goes wrong with the server or there are technical difficulties, they will get taken care of quickly.

Alright, so you know what kind of hosting you need. Now its time to find the best managed dedicated server hosting for the best price. This is not really one of the easiest things to do because there are a lot of choices out there for hosting. A lot of hosting companies give similar packages and comparable rates. However, I have come down to really three hosting companies that have a good reputation for delivering a quality service.

* Bluehost
* Hostgator
* Lunarpages

I personally am using Bluehost right now and have for almost two years now. What I like about Bluehost is that when I have a problem I can call up their customer service department and get support at anytime of the day. Finding a company with excellent customer service is definitely a major selling point especially considering how it is being out sourced to other countries more and more these days. This is not the case with Bluehost or the other two companies.

I highly recommend these three companies if you are looking for the best managed dedicated server hosting on the net right now. For more information on these hosts visit Managed Dedicated Server Hosting

When it comes to running your online business, your website can ensure that you are successful or that you fail. Most people do not like visiting a website that is slow to load, is messy, unprofessional looking, or hard to navigate through. Your website represents your business, and if it is a mess, then people will assume (rightly or wrongly) that you treat your customers in the same slip shod way. Choosing the best web site hosting company can make all of the difference when it comes to your website and how it appears and is run and it is up to you to ensure that you make the right choices.

The first thing you should do when determining what is the best web site hosting is to make a list of everything you need. It is easy to get excited during a search because you have found a great deal that you want to jump on. By having a list of your needs in front of you while you search, you will ensure that you don't miss anything during the decision making process.

Another thing to consider is what rights you have with the web hosting site. The best web site hosting companies will offer a satisfaction guarantee that allows you to move to another web host if you aren't happy. Be cautious of sites that require you to sign a contract or own your domain name in return for a low monthly price. If you aren't happy and you want to make a move, you want to ensure that you can take your domain name with you. In fact, purchasing your domain name before you choose a web hosting site will ensure that you avoid this underhanded procedure.

Choosing the best web site hosting company is very important for your online business. Web hosting companies are responsible for how fast your site runs, how much memory and space you have available to you and even your email management. When you chose a web site hosting company, you should take the same considerations that you would take if you were going to rent or purchase an actual storefront. If you take this approach before making your decision, you will be able to make the right choices at the right price.

Choose Your Web Site Hosting Service Online

Have you ever visited a website that promised to show you something fantastic or who claimed they had the best offer on a product that you have been dying to purchase only to get there and not be able to find what you were looking for amidst all of the other garbage that was on the site? Or worse yet, you get on the site but the page you are interested in won't load? The owner of the website in question is a victim of poor website management, which often falls under the purview of the web site hosting service.

Most people do not have the capability of hosting their own website. This is something that requires a server that can support a large amount of information and handle a lot of traffic as well. Most people with websites depend on their web site hosting service to ensure that everything runs smoothly, that people can find and purchase their products, and that the system doesn't crash if the site suddenly sees a lot of traffic. There are a lot of web site hosting services that provide everything that a website owner needs, it is simply a matter of finding the right one.

Choosing a web site hosting service should be a process. Choosing the first web hosting service that you find is not good business. There are literally thousands of web hosting services available to you, and it will do you and your business a lot of good to check out as many as you can stand.

Naturally you are not going to be able to check every single web site hosting service available. You are going to have to narrow your search by determining what exactly you need. Some sites need the ability to stream video, but don't need to have a checkout option, while others will have hundreds of pictures of products that people can purchase. Perhaps you fall in one of these categories, or maybe you don't, regardless, you probably have something specific that you are going to need from your web hosting service.

There are sites online that are dedicated to reviewing websites. Utilize these websites to narrow down your choices for your web site hosting service, otherwise you will be stuck in transition for a long time. The goal is to get your online business up and running, although you need to be careful, you also need to move quickly as well.

A Beginners Introduction To Web Hosting For Small Business

Web hosting is the product that makes your website available to be viewed by others on the internet.

A web host rents space on its server, so that other devices around the world can access your website by means of a network or modem.

There are literally hundreds of internet hosting services available now, ranging from low cost services with limited features to highpriced, specialist business web hosting services. Which option you settle on depends primarily on how you plan to use your web page and how much you want to spend. Many people put up their website up through their service providers, because it's generally easy and inexpensive.

Most internet service provider packages comes with a small number of free web space, along with equipment to create and upload web sites quickly and easily. Internet service provider sites are perfect for people who want to put up tiny sites with low amounts of traffic. However, there are usually rate restrictions, and most internet service providers don't give a lot of features, so they might not be the best choice for a growing business website. Free web hosting is another good choice for smaller, personal webpages.

Unfortunately the most popular web hosting organisations i.e. those that appear in the top ten search pages, are still over-tecnical and too difficult for an everyday individual. The world wide internet has evolved in popularity and now non-technical people, more than ever before, wish to use such services.

There are some less publicised hosting organisations that are metamorphosizing themselves to accommodate for normal individuals, to make jobs such as domain name registrations and internet hosting accounts a uncomplicated everyday task. I personally run one such company and my regular close contact with colleagues has provided me with insight. This direct relationship with my customers has given me the feedback and knowledge I need to simplify and extinguish the difficulty and complexity of internet hosting.

If you are founding an online business or cash making project which involves the use of sites then we highly recommend that you do not go for the simple and cheapest web hosting service. Searches for web hosting will bring you many temptations because there are such inexpensive offers out there, but to ensure that you have the support you need when you need it, consider careful review of the hosting provider, phone them up and decide for yourself what flavour of service you might expect.
